It always amazes me how much kids can express themselves with just a bunch of markers and a blank page. I’ve seen it over and over; through my daughter, my niece, and the kids in our courtyard. Their drawings aren’t just drawings. They’re stories, feelings, and bouts of imagination that deserve more than just space on the fridge. That’s really where the idea for Made With Your Art began.
It started with a simple idea: turning kids’ artwork into wearable jewellery. What began as my daughter’s idea has now grown into a unique brand that helps families turn their children’s artwork into something they can hold onto, and wear for years to come.
Then something unexpected happened: a museum in the U.S. reached out about one of those early pieces. They wanted to showcase an entire collection based on one of her childhood paintings. That moment reminded me why this idea matters.
We had already been creating custom pieces for customers and families alike, with a brand that was steadily growing. This experience reinforced what we’ve always believed: every child is an artist, and their creativity can resonate with others. It reminded us why this work matters and strengthened our commitment to offer a school fundraiser that lets students see their creativity come to life, while helping schools raise funds in a meaningful, personal way.
